Restoration of Heritage House at the Trentham Sandringham
Following many months of meticulous workmanship from talented artisans, the facade restoration works for the heritage building on the corner of Bay Road and Trentham Street are now complete. Most recently this has included the restored windows being installed, tuck pointing of brick work and completion of the verandah and balustrade. The internal strip out is also complete, ready for Figurehead (the appointed builders for The Trentham) to commence internal fit out and take to completion later next year. These works will include the commercial kitchen, bistro, dining and lounge areas and rest rooms.
For the main building that will house the private residences and the extensive shared spaces, the tower crane has been installed, basement works are complete and a slab on ground at the base is complete along with rainwater tanks and structural footings. Suspended concrete slabs are now being installed and will continue for the remainder of the year, right up until the concrete roof slab is poured. Precast concrete columns and walls are also being installed and the installation of basement services are to commence in coming months.
